Dr.Ranjit Thomas is currently working as Associate Professor at Lourdes Matha Institute of Management Studies (LMIMS). He has over 10.5 years of teaching experience and 17 months of Industry experience.

He holds a graduation in Engineering (B.E) from Anna University with a postgraduation in Management (Calicut University) and a Doctoral Degree in Management Studies from University of Kerala. His thesis is mainly concerned with examining the job satisfaction and job performance of faculty members of Engineering Colleges in Kerala.

He started his career as an Apprentice in HLL Lifecare Ltd, Engineering section, Akkulam Plant, Trivandrum and worked in some organisations such as TCS, Trivandrum and Araab United General Trading and Contracting company, Kuwait. He also worked as an Academic Associate in IIM Kozhikode, Marketing Area and was associated with teaching in some educational institutions before joining LMIMS.

He teaches various subjects for MBA course such as Industry 4.0 and AI for business, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Research for Managerial Decisions, Ethics, Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility, Retail Management, and B2B marketing. His areas of interests include Research Methodology, Artificial Intelligence, Retail Management, Qualitative Research, and statistical packages such as SPSS.

He has presented research papers in various national and international seminars and conferences and published articles in reputed journals.
